  • Quality Basics: Training Administrator

For curriculum vitae (CV) and job descriptions (JD), Veeva Basics recommends creating an external training requirement for each, with proof and verification required.

Only Training Admins and the Manager will have visibility of the CV/JD after the user uploads it.

To use external training requirements for CVs and JDs:

  1. Navigate to Training Admin > Training Matrix > Training Requirements and click Create.

  2. Select External Training Requirement and click Continue.

  3. Fill out the training requirement details, making sure to set:

    • Proof Required?: Yes
    • Verification Required?: Yes
  4. Click Save.

  5. Mark the training requirement Ready for Use.

  6. Click Start.

  7. Add the training requirement to a curriculum and then assign that curriculum to the learner’s individual learner role.

  8. When the job runs overnight, the learner will receive a training assignment to upload their CV or JD.

  9. The learner’s manager will then receive a task to verify the learner’s attached document.

  10. The learner’s manager will then either Accept or Reject the learner’s document. If accepted, the learner’s training assignment will be marked Complete. If rejected, the learner will need to resubmit.
